RUDOLPH THADEN, 80

Services for Rudolph Thaden, age 80 of Blair who died at Memorial Community Hospital May 16, 1992 after an apparent heart attack are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 19 at the First United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Rudolph A. Thaden was born November 28, 1911 at Ft. Calhoun, Nebraska to Ude and Bertha Hass Thaden. He attended the Ft. Calhoun Schools and later farmed on the family farm.

On January 8, 1941, he married Minnie Mencke. They farmed in the Kennard area until moving to Blair in 1948.

He was in the construction business until his retirement in 1974. In 1985 he moved to Crowell Home and in 1987 to Good Shepherd where he resided until his death.

Preceded him in death were his parents; wife, Minnie in 1985; five brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Kathi Thaden, Lincoln, Nebraska; sons, Rick of Lincoln and Ron of Lubbock, Texas; two granddaughters, Emily Thaden and Stephanie Thaden; and two sisters, Edith Puls, Arlington, Nebraska and Celia Haskins, Constantine, Michigan.
