JOAN L. THEW, 57
Services were Monday, March 18 at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont for Joan L. Thew, 57 of Fremont who died March 15, 1991 at Memorial Hospital of Dodge County in Fremont. Rev. David Hansen of Fremont Presbyterian Church officiated. Burial was in the Memorial Cemetery at Fremont.
Joan L. Thew was born June 12, 1933 at Arlington. She lived in Omaha and California before coming to Fremont. She was a graduate of Fremont High School and had lived in Fremont for 40 years.
She married Robert L. Thew September 19, 1953 at Fremont. She was co-owner and co-manager of Custom Floors & Drapes in Blair. She was a member of Fremont Presbyterian Church and the church circle.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Martha Pedersen Linn.
She is survived by her husband, Robert; two daughters, Michele (Mrs. David) Huffmann and Cynthia Thew, both of Fremont; one sister, Gerri (Mrs. James) Kleese of Fremont and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers were James Kleese, Robert Brokenicky, Leon Brokenicky, Charles Thew, Dale Bennett and Michael Thew.
Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.
Moser Memorial Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
