The remains of Dr. B. F. Monroe arrived from Seattle, Wash., last Saturday, and the funeral was held at the Episcopal church at 10 o’clock Sunday morning, Rev. A. E. Marsh officiating. After the church service the Masons took charge and held their usual service at the grave. Death was caused by a cerebral hemorrhage which occurred as he was about to sit down to the breakfast table at the home of his daughter, Imo, in Seattle. He was 60 years old and was a resident of this city for a good many years. Mrs. George Siert, of Florence, is a daughter and was the only near relative present at the funeral.
