Lee Montanye, 41

Lee Allen Montanye, 41, of rural Herman, died Monday, Oct. 11, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.

Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 14, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 13.

Lee Montanye was born Nov. 30, 1957, at Waterloo, Iowa. He attended Blair Community Schools and was employed as a bricklayer.

Survivors include one son, Heath Montanye, of Dunlap, Iowa; parents, Verna and Melvin Kuhr, Blair; friend Kimberly Oliver, Herman; grandmother, Mary Sutherland, Blair; brothers and sisters, Betty (Mrs. Rob) Munson, Trenton, Mo., Monte Montanye, Nolanville, Texas, Craig Montanye, Fenneville, Mich., Richard Kuhr, Michael Kuhr andBrenda (Mrs. Kenny) Beaty, all of Blair.
