ELDON THIETJE, 84

Funeral services were Saturday, June 2, at the Ben Stalp Funeral Chapel in West Point for Eldon “Bud” Thietje, 84 of West Point who died May 30, 1990 at the West Point Living Center. Rev. James Gullen officiated. Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery in West Point.

Eldon Thietje was born January 9, 1906 in West Point. He graduated from West Point High School in 1925 and in 1936 became a livestock dealer and business owner in West Point.

He moved to Blair, Schuyler, Howells and back to West Point. He was a livestock dealer/business owner in each place.

He married Mildred Petersen October 28, 1931 in Blair. She survives.

Other survivors include a daughter, Donna (Mrs. Frank) Mancuso of Omaha; a brother, Loy of West Point; three sisters, Delilah (Mrs. Charles) New of Grand Island; Alta (Mrs. Iver) Petersen of Minden; and LaVernn (Mrs. Clarence) Isaacson of Tucson, Arizona; and three grandchildren.
