Wife Of One-Time Business Man Died Thursday

Mrs. Carrie Mable Moore, wife of a former Blair business man, died at Westhaven Rest Home in Genoa, Nebraska Thursday, October 10th. Mrs. Moore was 84 years old.

The deceased was the wife of the late John Moore, who operated a plumbing and heating business here for many years. She had made her home at Genoa for a number of months.

Mrs. Moore was born at Tekamah, Nebraska January 15, 1884.

She is survived by three daughters and three sons. The daughters are Mrs. J. A. Bowles, of Los Angeles, Mrs. Tom Earwood, of Astoria, Oregon, and Mrs. Abe Warrick, of Kennard. The sons are Wm. J. Kelley of Washington, D.C.; Paul Kelley, of Kansas City, Mo., and Walter Kelley, of Blair. There are 8 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

A sister, Mrs. Hazel Marr lives at Tekamah and a brother, Walter Sisson also lives at Tekamah.

Funeral services were held at 2 P.M. Saturday afternoon at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. John Bauserman conducting the service. Burial, under the direction of the Bendorf Funeral Home, was made in the Blair cemetery.

Pallbearers were Robert McMillan, Everett Lamb, Ernest Tornblad, Raymond Wilson, Dudley Carter and E. A. Schmidt.
