EARL C. THOMPSON SERVICES JUNE 3rd

Mr. Earl Chester Thompson passed away at the Blair Memorial Community Hospital on May 31st.

He was born to Mr. and Mrs. Bate Thompson on June 24, 1886 and would have been 79 years of age this month.

He was married to Emma Andersen and they were the parents of six children. Mr. Thompson was a farmer and lived near Blair all his life.

Survivors besides his wife Emma are three daughters, Mrs. Elmer Breithaupt (Annie) of Blair; Mrs. Herman Matzen (Meta) of Herman; Mrs. Lyle Williby (Daisy) of Blair; three sons, Earl W. and Carroll of Blair and Calvin of Elba, Nebraska; 18 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren also survive and one brother George of Lamar, Colorado; and one sister, Mrs. Claude Farney of Waterbury, Nebraska.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Thursday, June 3rd at the First Christian Church. The Rev. Gail Dunning will officiate and burial will be in the Blair cemetery with the Bendorf Funeral Home in charge.

Pallbearers will be three sons: Earl W., Carroll and Calvin; three grandsons, Richard Matzen, Joe Breithaupt and Gary Williby.
