ELIZABETH THOMPSON, 85

Services for Elizabeth “Betty” Thompson, who died at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair April 15, 1993, were Monday, April 19 at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church with burial in the Holy Cross Cemetery.

Elizabeth M. Thompson was born November 7, 1907 at Fordyce, Nebraska to Louis and Minnie Hineline Wise. She attended school in Blair.

On August 10, 1935, she married Joseph Thompson at Blair. They farmed west of Blair until moving into Blair in 1965.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Joseph in March 1981; two brothers, George Wise and Don Wise and one sister, Alice Wise.

Surviving her are her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Nancy Thompson of Blair; daughter and son-in-law, Lilly and Don Wieser, Gainesville, Georgia; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; five sisters, Jane Larsen and Effie Thompson, both of Blair; Marjorie Waibel, Rochester, Minnesota; Sylvia Newton, Gastonia, North Carolina and Louise Wilbanks, Bentonsville, Arkansas; and three brothers, Lee Wise, New Haven, Connecticut; Paul Wise, Detroit Lakes, Minnesota; and Walter Wise, Lisbon, North Dakota.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
