GLENN WILLIAM THOMPSON, 83

Services will be 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13 at the Campbell-Aman Funeral Chapel for Glenn William Thompson, 83, who died Dec. 10, 1996 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Home in Blair. Rev. Kenneth Jensen of Good Shepherd Lutheran Home will officiate. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Visitation will start at 1 p.m. Thursday.

Glenn William Thompson was born Feb. 12, 1913 to Frank C. and Elnora Bernhard Thompson on a farm three miles west of Blair. He attended Sutherland School.

Farming and livestock were his lifelong occupations. He was a 4-H Club member and he and his brother, Leslie won many awards with their livestock. He was able to pick 100 bushels of corn a day by hand.

He was a member of the Riverview Grange No. 392.

He was preceded in death by his father in 1952; his mother in 1965; and his brother, Leslie in 1938.

He is survived by two nieces and their husbands, Peggy and Jack Kaufmann of David City, Nebr. and Jeanne and Bill Tripp of Blair; seven grandnephews and eighteen great-grandnieces and nephews.
