GRACE THOMPSON, 86

Grace M. Thompson, 86, of Blair died Thursday evening, December 3, 1987, at Methodist Hospital in Omaha.

Funeral services were Monday, December 7th, 1987 at First United Methodist Church in Blair. Interment was in the Blair Cemetery.

Grace was born August 22, 1901, daughter of Daniel and Mollie (Blankenbeckler) Thompson.

Grace graduated from Blair High School in 1920, taught in country schools and continued her education, graduating from Teachers College at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln in 1934.

She retired from teaching in 1966 and made her home in Blair, living at the Good Shepherd Home since January, 1987.

Survivors include her brothers, Howard D. Thompson and Earl J. Thompson, both of Blair; and one sister, Mrs. Lawrence (Ruie) Cook of Arlington, and many nieces and nephews.

Memorials are suggested to the Good Shepherd Home or the First United Methodist Church in Blair.
