Services for Harley Thompson of Blair who died October 11, 1991 after suffering an apparent heart attack were held Monday, October 14 at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home. Burial was in the Blair Cemetery.

Harley V. Thompson was born February 26, 1917 at Herman, Nebraska to Neal and Selma Andersen Thompson. He attended rural schools in Washington County and later attended Blair High School.

He served in the Army during World War II and was a life member of the Blair American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He married Ethel Viles August 26, 1940 in Tekamah, Nebraska.

Harley was in the construction business his entire life and had a great love for animals and nature.

He is survived by his wife, Ethel; a daughter and son-in-law, Louann and James Lierman, Blair, Nebraska; two grandchildren, Theresa (Mrs. Robert) Erixon, Missouri Valley, Iowa and Amy Shaw, Blair. He is also survived by two brothers, Lowell Thompson, Sebeka, Minnestoa and E. T. Thompson, Blair; three sisters, Nila (Mrs. Marlin) Matzen, Alice (Mrs. Albert) Madsen and Gloria (Mrs. Ronald) Jensen, all of Blair.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge.
