Services for Irma Thompson, 73, of Blair, who died at Memorial Community Hospital March 13, 1995 will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 16 at First United Methodist Church, with burial in the Blair Cemetery.

Irma J. Thompson was born December 13, 1921 at Kennard, Nebraska to Fred and Jeannette Kronberg French. She attended March School and graduated from Kennard High School in 1938.

On October 18, 1939 she married Earl J. Thompson. They lived and farmed south of Blair for 53 years.

He preceded her in death in August of 1990.

In 1992, she moved to Blair, where she resided at the time of her death.

She was baptized and confirmed at Emmaus Lutheran Church in Kennard and joined the Methodist Church in Blair, where she had been a member for 50 years.

Surviving her in death are two daughters and sons-in-law, JoAnn and Richard Hultberg, Omaha, Nebraska and Rosemary and Joe Chance, Overland Park, Kansas; three grandchildren, Steven Hultberg, Angela Hultberg and Carolyn Mize; three great-grandchildren, Amanda Hultberg, Andrew Hultberg and Justin Mize; one brother, Clyde French, Blair and many cousins and friends.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
