Services for Sumner “Kayo” Moore, 64 of Omaha, who died suddenly December 11, 1995 at Bergan Mercy Hospital in Omaha will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, December 14, at the Campbell-Aman Funeral Chapel in Blair. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Sumner “Kayo” Moore was born June 11, 1931 in Omaha to Sumner and Maudie Mae Gilliam Moore. He graduated from Blair High school.

He was a veteran, servicing his country during the Korean Conflict.

He worked for 20 years for the Swanson Corporation and lived the past 23 years in Omaha.

He married Shirley Jacobs in Blair March 22, 1953.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley of Omaha; sons and daughters-in-law, Terry and Barb of Georgetown, Texas; and Tim of Norwood, Minnesota; Kevin and Sharon of Clinton, Utah; daughters and sons-in-law, Vicki and Mark Meyer of Norfolk and Janelle and Tim Hall of Omaha; 12 grandchildren; a brother, Don Moore of Blair; and sisters, Viola Jaber of Omaha and Millie Webster of Aurora, Missouri.
