Troy Moore, 57

Troy Moore, 57, of Blair, died Friday, Dec. 7, 2007, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Home, after a short battle with cancer.

Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, at the Church of the Nazarene in Fremont. There will be no graveside services.

Troy Moore was born June 20, 1950, in Blair to Hugh and Elsie Moore. He attended school in Blair, and graduated in 1968.

He enlisted in the United States Army in 1968, and served as a medical technician, earning the rank of staff sergeant when he left the Army 10 years later.

For the last 17 years, he has been a safety coordinator; trainer and relief driver for Farner Bocken.

He is survived by his daughter, Misty (Marion) Everhart; son, Jason Moore of Fremont; five grandchildren; mother, Elsie Moore of Blair; sisters and brother-in-law, Patricia Vahle of Tulsa, Okla., Sandra and Darryl Paulsen of Blair, and Anita Rust of Omaha; special friend, Stacie Carstensen, and son, Jake, of Fremont; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, river family, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Hugh; and nephews, David Paulsen and Michael Rust.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
