MRS. C. THOMPSON DIED HERE MONDAY

Mrs. Katie Bell Thompson, wife of Clate Thompson, died at Memorial Community Hospital Monday, March 29th. She was 78 years of age. Mr. and Mrs. Thompson lived at 1353 South street in Blair.

Mr. Thompson was born at St. Aubert , Missouri, August 9th, 1886. She had lived with her husband at Blair for many years.

She is survived by her husband, Clate, and by two sons and two daughters. The sons are Percy Thompson and Stanley Thompson, both of Blair. The daughters: Mr. Verllie Feltes of Bethalto, Illinois and Mrs. Maris Nichols of New Haven, Missouri.

A sister, Mrs. Dora Pasquier, lives at Jefferson City, Missouri. There are 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are being held today (Thursday) at the Assembly of God church with the Rev. M. S. Anderson and Woodrow Svendgaard conducting the service. The Campbell Mortuary is in charge. Burial will be made in the Blair Cemetery.
