SERVICES FOR L. L. THOMPSON HELD ON WEDNESDAY
Lawrence L. Thompson, 68, died Monday at the Fremont Care Center.
Services were at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Swanson Funeral Home in Valley. The Rev. Levi Williams officiated.
Thompson was born October 10, 1906, in Arlington. A retired farmer, he spent his entire life in this area.
Thompson married Lillian Willison October 10, 1933, in Nashua, Iowa.
Survivors include his widow; sons, James, Denver; Gary and Thomas, both of Elkhorn; Paul, Omaha; and John, Valley; daughters, Mrs. Leon (Virginia) Ehlers, Hooper; and Mrs. Quinton (Mary) Lehman, Grand Island; brothers, Leonard and Vernon, both of Arlington; sister, Mrs. Victor Klein, Madison, Wisc.; and eight grandchildren. Burial was in Arlington Cemetery.
Pallbearers were George Batten; Sterling Burke; Gust Holberg; Leroy Kirchman; Don Lentell; Warner Miller.
