LEONARD G. THOMPSON
ARLINGTON - - Leonard G. Thompson, 72, of Arlington died Sunday in Memorial Hospital of Dodge County.
Mr. Thompson, a farmer, was born May 22, 1909, in Arlington and was a lifelong resident of the community. He was a school bus driver for nine years. He was a member of Arlington Community Church, where he served as a deacib and an usher for 40 years.
Mr. Thompson married the former Louise Van Valkenburgh on June 12, 1938 in Arlington. She survives.
Other survivors are: one brother, Vernon, Arlington; and one sister, Mrs. Edna Klein, Madison, Wis.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Arlington Community Church, with the Rev. Gerald Senn officiating. Burial will be in Arlington Cemetery.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday in Reckmeyer Funeral Home, Arlington. Memorials may be made to the Arlington Rescue Squad or Arlington Community Church.
