RITES HELD SUNDAY FOR ROSE THOMPSON

Funeral services were held Sunday at the Arlington Congregational Church for Mrs. Rose Thompson, 90 years of age, who died Thursday at Madison, Wisconsin.

The Rev. Robert Krause officiated at the services with interment in Arlington Cemetery.

Mrs. Thompson is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Edna Klein of Madison, Wisconsin; three sons, Lawrence Thompson of Valley and Leonard and Vernon Thompson of Arlington; a sister, Mrs. Caroline Ruwe of Lincoln; a brother, Fred Loosing of Arlington; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Thompson was born December 8, 1868 near Arlington, the daughter of William and Hannah Loosing. She was married to James L. Thompson and to this union six children were born, Bertha and Vivian preceding her in death.

During recent years she has been living with her daughter in Madison. Last fall she suffered a stroke and was taken to a Nursing Home in Madison where she died.

Pallbearers were six grandsons, Thomas, Gary and Paul Thompson of Valley, Lyle Thompson of Fremont, Duane Thompson of Arlington and Leon Ehlers of Ft. Calhoun.

Reckmeyer Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
