SHAWN GENE THOMPSON
Shawn Gene Thompson, son of Connie Thompson, was born August 10, 1971, at University Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska. He died June 2, 1988 from injuries sustained in a car accident.
He lived in Logan where he attended the Logan-Magnolia school from second grade to eighth grade, having moved to Blair in March 1987.
He is survived by his mother, Connie Thompson, Blair, Nebraska; grandmother, Dorothy Thompson; 14 aunts and uncles, 17 cousins.
Services were Saturday, June 4, 1988 at the Christian Church in Logan, Iowa. A prayer service was held on Friday evening at 7:00 P.M. at Schumacher Funeral Home, Logan, Iowa.
Clergyman was Robert H. Evans, music was by Linda Straight, Peggy Kelly accompanied by Sandra Shadden.
Interment was in Bethel Cemetery, Logan, Iowa.
Arrangements were by Schumacher Funeral Home, Logan, Iowa.
Bearers: Gary Thompson, Rick Thompson, Alan Thompson, LaVerne Thompson, Don Buttery, and Steve Skoug.
