SUSAN A. THOMPSON, 37

Former Blair resident Susan A. Thompson, 37, of Fremont, died Saturday, Nov. 25, 2006, at Arbor Manor Nursing Home in Fremont.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, at Arbor Manor. Private family interment of her cremains will be held at a later date.

Susan Ann Thompson was born June 10, 1969, in Castro Valley, Calif., to Robert and Barbara Thompson.

She graduated from Blair High School in 1987, and attended Dana College for two years. She worked for the Omaha Public Power District in the customer relations department until her disability kept her home.

She enjoyed her daughter, friends and her cats very much. She moved to Arbor Manor in 2001.

She is survived by her daughter, Lauren, of Omaha; siblings and their spouses, Carolyn and Wayne Anderson of Blair; Linda and Douglas Schmucker of Placerville, Calif.; Roberta and Ken Bradley of Washington state; Robert Winningham of Tracy, Calif.; Stuart Thompson of California; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Donald Thompson.

Memorials may be directed to muscular sclerosis research.
