Funeral services were held Friday, April 2, at Swanson Funeral Home in Valley for Byrel Morris, 81, of Elk City who died March 30, 1982, at the Golden Years Nursing Home in Elkhorn. Burial was in Elk City Cemetery.

Byrel Morris was born November 7, 1900, at Shelbyville, Missouri. A mechanic, he resided in Elk City for many years. He was a member of Victory Lodge No. 310 A.F.&A.M.

He is survived by his wife, Consuello; and two daughters, Marylu Wesemann of Blair and Maryjo LeGrand of waterloo. Four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive him.

Swanson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for the services.
