Alex Morrison died last Sunday at his home in Grant township and the funeral was held at the house on Tuesday. Interment was made in the Scandinavian Lutheran cemetery. He was 74 years of age and leaves one married son, Joe, and one daughter.

The funeral of Alex Morrison, aged 74 yrs., an old and respected settler on York Creek, occurred last Tuesday at the residence and the service was by the Pastor of Herman M.E. church. Burial at Thone cemetery. Malarial fever caused death. Deceased leaves two sons and one daughter to mourn his exit from this troublous world
