Funeral mass was held Saturday, December 11, at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Dodge for Maynard R. Bart, 50, of Dodge, who died December 8, 1982, in Memorial Hospital of Dodge County in Fremont, after apparently suffering a heart attack at home.

The Rev. Hugh Schwartz conducted the mass. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Maynard R. Bart was born July 31, 1932, in Oelrich, South Dakota, and lived most of his life in the Dodge area. He worked as pollution control manager for the city of Dodge and was a member of the Dodge Volunteer Fire Department.

He married Vlasta Replinski on April 10, 1956, in St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Dodge. She survives.

Other survivors include a son, Scott of Dodge; and daughters, Mrs. John (Bonnie) Rasmus of West Point and Beverly and Jean, both of Dodge. Brothers, Donald of Howells, James of Dodge, Harold of Omaha, Duane of Fremont, dean of Arlington, and Harlan of Van Nuys, California; and sisters, Mrs. Leonard (Roma) Kampschneider of Dodge, and Mrs. Bill (Mary Ann) McGuire of Wisner also survive him.

Humlicek Funeral Home in Dodge was in charge of services.
