ANDREW G. THONE IS DEAD

Andrew G. Thone, born and lived for many years on the home place, three miles southwest of Herman, died at a sanitarium in Minnesota, on Wednesday, of consumption, and the body was brought back to Herman where funeral services will be held at the Baptist church today (Friday) and interment made in the family cemetery on the farm.

Deceased was a son of Andrew Thone who died many years ago and is buried in the family cemetery; his mother, several brothers and half-brothers live in Minnesota. One sister, Mrs. Johnson, lives on the old home farm. Nick Thone, of Blair, is a second cousin of the deceased, who was 44 years old. A number of friends from Blair attended the funeral.

Andrew G. Thone was born May 5, 1872 in Washington county, Nebr., near Herman, and died April 18, 1916 at the state sanitarium, Minn., being 43 years, 11 months and 13 days old. He leaves his mother, Mrs. L. Austin of Worthington, Minn., and one sister, Mrs. Elsie Johnson of Herman. Also three half sisters and three half brothers. Funeral services were held at the Baptist church Saturday afternoon, Rev. G. A. Smith officiating. Interment in the Thone cemetery.
