RUTH B. THONE, 83
Services for Ruth B. Thone, 83 of Herman who died October 11, 1994 at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair will be 10 a.m. Friday, October 14 at the Herman Methodist Church. Rev. Mark Richardson will officiate. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.
Ruth B. Thone was born January 6, 1911 at Kennard to August “Gus” and Cora Pettet Reeh. She attended Kennard schools from first grade through high school.
She was a member of the Herman Order of Eastern Star Chapter No. 216 for many years.
She married Clarence Thone at Herman January 14, 1934. They farmed in the Spiker area for many years and she lived on the farm until going to the hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Ronald Eugene; her parents; four brothers, John, Earl, Jim and Byran and three sisters, Mae (Mrs. Ray) Webster, Bessie (Mrs. Cleon) Wilkins and Ann (Mrs. Marion)Hahn.
She is survived by one son, Ken of Herman and two granddaughters, Tracy Lynn Thone of Kansas City and Terri Jo Thone of Omaha.
Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
