MRS. MARIE THUNN SERVICES JULY 22

Mrs. Marie Dorothy Thunn passed away at the Blair Hospital on July 19th. She had been a resident in the Good Shepherd Home for a few months.

Marie Mordhorst was born March 11, 1887 at Keil, Germany and came to the United States as a small child. She lived in the Bennington area until her marriage to George Thunn when they made their home near Ft. Calhoun.

Mr. Thunn died over 20 years ago and Mrs. Thunn is survived by five children, Arthur Thunn of Kennard; Lester Thunn of Ft. Calhoun; Mrs. Ernest Schmidt (Rose) of Craig; Mrs. Ralph Petersen of Riverside, California; and Mrs. John Eklwall of Myrtle Creek, Oregon. There are ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Also a sister, Mrs. Anna Rathjen and a brother, Fred Mordhorst, both of Omaha.

The Sievers Mortuary at Ft. Calhoun is in charge of arrangements. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 22nd at the Ft. Calhoun Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in the Ft. Calhoun cemetery.

Pallbearers will be John and Fred Gregerson, Albert and Raymond Gregerson, Chester Auch and Clarence Voss.
