John R. Moore, 75 of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania died of complications from a fall down a flight of stairs

. He was the father of Jack Moore, formerly of rural Blair, now of Route 1, Hurdle Mills, North Carolina.

Note: Because this newspaper obituary was not dated prior to pasting on the Blair, Library card, additional research was needed.

Assumption: since Jack Moore was of rural Blair, Nebraska, we assumed this John R. Moore had lived in Nebraska at some time.

John R and Jack Moore lived in Lincoln, Nebraska, at 2375 “O” street. The family had lived in the same house in 1935, and all had been born in Nebraska. The 1940 US Census records were gathered about June, 1940.
