Elizabeth Morrow, 53

Elizabeth Morrow, age 53, of rural Lyons, died Saturday afternoon, April 1, 1989 at Clarkson Hospital in Omaha after a long bout with cancer.

Elizabeth was born on September 10, 1935 at Trim, Ireland to Christopher and Bridgette (Mitchell) Mahon. She came to the United States in 1957 at the age of 22 years and married Walter S. Morrow on October 18, 1958 at Upland, California. The couple had lived in San Diego, California until April of 1976, when they moved to their rural Lyons farm.

Survivors include her husband, Walter S. Morrow of rural Lyons; three sons, Anthony Morrow of Puyallup, Washington, Byron Morrow of Tekamah and Thomas Morrow of rural Lyons; three granddaughters; her mother, Bridgette Mahon of Trim, Ireland; six brothers: Anthony and Cyril of Ireland and Christy, Joe, Jim and Camellus of England and three sisters: Phyllis Robinson, Gertrude Clifford and Lilly Ann Allerton, all of England.

She was preceded in death by her father, one brother, Patrick and one sister, Daisy.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 6 at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Decatur with Fr. John O. McCaslin, Celebrant. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery at Decatur.
