Funeral services were Monday, June 13, at First Christian Church for Vivian H. Mortensen, 74, of rural Fremont, who died June 10, 1983, in Memorial Hospital of Dodge County.

The Rev. Doran Myers officiated. Burial was in Memorial Cemetery.

Vivian H. Mortensen was born February 8, 1909, in Modale, Iowa, and has lived in Fremont most of her life. She had worked at Memorial Hospital of Dodge County for several years and was a member of the First Christian Church.

She married Harold B. Mortensen February 26, 1941, at Schuyler. He preceded her in death November 4, 1977.

She is survived by one son, Fred Whitt of Fremont. One sister, Mrs. Betha Kincanon of Fremont; one step-sister, Mrs. Carl (Betty) Lunn of Nickerson; one step-brother, Woodrow Kincanon of Fremont; and two grandchildren also survive her.

Memorials are suggested to First Christian Church or the Heart Fund.

Moser Memorial Chapel was in charge.
