MILDRED D. TICHOTA, 95

Mildred D. Tichota, 95, of Scribner, Neb., died Wednesday, May 10, 2000 at the Good Samaritan Center in Scribner.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 12 at the Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Services were held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 13 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Snyder. The Rev. Diane Picton officiated. Interment was at the Snyder City Cemetery.

Mildred D. (Schneider) Tichota was born on January 5, 1905 in Snyder, Neb. She married Raymond Tichota on February 10, 1926 in Omaha.

Mildred was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Snyder; and was a former member of St. Timothy Lutheran Church in Fremont and a former member of the County Extension Club.

She lived in Snyder until 1974, when she moved to Fremont. She moved to the Good Samaritan Center in 1991.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Jennie Tichota of Blair; a daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Jack McVicker of Omaha; a daughter, Connie Denney of Atlanta, Georgia; three brothers and sisters-in-law: Clifford and Fern Schneider of Ft. Collins, Colo.; Emerson and Gerri Schneider of Snowflake, Arizona; and Carl and Donna Schneider of San Diego, Calif.; a sister and brother-in-law, Elsie and Alvin Meyer of Scribner, Neb.; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Mathilda Schneider; her husband; an infant son; three brothers, Dale, Sherman and Harvey Schneider; and three sisters, Blondina and Ethel Schneider and Ruth Beck.

Arrangements were handled by Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont.
