MARVIN TICHOTA DIES WEDNESDAY AT WEST POINT

Funeral services were Monday, June 14, in Redeemer Lutheran Church for Marvin J. Tichota, 44 of Fremont who died June 9, 1982 in a West Point Hospital.

The Rev. Curtis Benson conducted the services. Burial was in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Ridgeley.

Marvin J. Tichota was born October 7, 1937, in North Bend. He was a lifelong resident of Dodge County and drove truck for Fremont Supersweet for 22 years. He served his country in Germany from 1955 – 59.

He was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Hooper, and the F.O.E. Aerie 200, Fremont.

He is survived by his stepfather and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Franklin (Evelyn) Liston of Nickerson; three sons, Alton J. Tichota of Houston, Texas; Terry Tichota and A. N. Michael Tichota, both in the United States Navy; and two step-sisters, Mrs. Darrell (Norma) Kuhlmann of Herman and Mrs. John (Jean) Scoville of Omaha.

Memorials may be given to the Heart Fund.

Warne Funeral Home in Hooper was in charge of arrangements for the services.
