THOMAS TIERNEY, 37

Funeral services for Thomas Tierney, 37, of Blair, were held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 23, 2000, at Westside Church, 150th and Dodge streets, in Omaha. Interment was in the Blair Cemetery. Mr. Tierney died Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2000.

Thomas L. Tierney was born Aug. 31, 1963, in Sioux City, Iowa, the son of Willard and Evelyn (Spec) Tierney. He lived in the Herman and Tekamah area prior to moving to Blair in 1975.

He attended Blair High School and then Universal Technical School in Omaha. Mr. Tierney then worked for First Data Resources, Pepsi-Cola, and was employed for the last eight years at Good Shepherd Lutheran Home as maintenance director.

He is survived by his wife, Kim; two children, Zach and Alyssa; his mother Evelyn Killingsworth; eight brothers, Bill, Joe, Mike, and Gary, all of Blair; Jerry of Oakland; Steve and Dan of Omaha; and Jim of Cape Coral, Fla.

He was preceded in death by his father, Willard Lloyd Tierney, and his step-father, Melvin Killingsworth, and his grandparents.

Memorials are suggested to the Zach and Alyssa Educational Fund. Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
