ALBERT H. TIETGEN RITES IN OMAHA LAST FRIDAY

Funeral services were held in Omaha last Friday for Albert H. Tietgen, a resident of Omaha, but related to a number of Washington County people. The services were held Friday morning at the Crosby-Burket Mortuary.

Mr. Tietgen of 2565 Mason St., Omaha, died Tuesday at an Omaha hospital of lung cancer.

In spite of numerous major surgeries and serious illnesses, he built a successful business known as Tietgen Equipment and Safeway Scaffolding at 5604 Center St., Omaha. He retired in March of last year.

Mr. Tietgen was a member of Master Masons, St. John’s No. 25 Royal Arch Masons No. 1, Mt. Calvary Commandery No. 1 and Tangier Temple Shrine No. 96.

Survivors include his wife Ann, daughter Carol Coughlin of Scottsdale, Arizona, sisters Edna Plahn and Mary Plahn of Norfolk, Alice Johnson of Manderson, Wyoming, a brother Lester of Wofford Heights, California and four grandchildren.
