Fern A. Moseman, 92

Services for Fern A. Moseman of Hooper and formerly of Arlington who died December 18, 1994 at the Hooper Care Center in Hooper are 10:30 a.m. Thursday, December 22 at Immanuel Lutheran Church east of Hooper. Rev. Rodney Meske is officiating. Burial will be in the Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Fern A. Moseman was born July 7, 1902 at rural Hooper. She lived at Hooper until moving to Arlington in 1969. She moved to the Hooper Care Center in 1992.

She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and was a former member of the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League and the Jolly Friendship Club.

She married Herman Moseman February 1, 1922 at Fremont. He preceded her in death March 16, 1984.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Mary Ruppert Briggs, brothers, Herbert Briggs and Earl Briggs; sisters, Violet Magnuson and Grace Weitzenkamp; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She is survived by five sons, Clarence of Fremont, Kenneth of Wausa, Calvin of Craig and Marlyn and Duane, both of Hooper; two daughters, Mary (Mrs. Dale) Snover of Firth, Nebraska and Joan (Mrs. Marlin) Scheer of Arlington; a brother, Lawrence Briggs of Lincoln; a sister, Hattie Eggers of Vancouver, Washington; 22 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Moseman, Raymond Moseman, Robert Moseman, Ron Snover, Tyler Thernef and Kendall Scheer.

Honorary pallbearers will be Byron Moseman, Michael Moseman, Jim Moseman, Richard Moseman, Don Snover and John Snover.

Reckmeyer-Moser Funeral Home in Arlington is in charge of arrangements.
