Robert L. Mowery, 63

Robert L. Mowery, 63, died Sunday, June 22, 2008, at his home in Kennard. Funeral services will be 10:30 A.M. Thursday, June 26, at Emmaus Lutheran Church in Kennard. Interment will be in the Kennard Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at noon Wednesday, June 25, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 P.M.

Robert L. Mowery wa born July 20, 1944, to William and Nora (Fox) Mowery of Council Bluffs, Iowa. He served in the United States Army from 1968 to 1973, serving during the Vietnam War.

He owned a trucking company, Mowery Trucking.

On April 8, 2005, he married Mary Reeh in Kennard. She survives him, as does his mother, Nora; brothers, Dave, Steve, Tim, Bill and Tom; sisters, Anita, Peggy, LaNora and Gaye; children, Sharon Morgan, Sandy and Kent Long, Keith Reeh, Colista and Mike Martin, Duane and Josh Reeh, Mindy and Sherry; and 13 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father.
