Mrs. James Barnhart Died Saturday, July 28

Mrs. James Barnhart, of 2204 Jackson Street, died Saturday morning after a lingering illness.

Doris J. Barnhart was born at Boone, Iowa, January 29, 1936, and was 37 years of age at her death. She was married to James Barnhart May 22,1954, at Harrison, Arkansas. The Barnhart’s moved to Blair three years ago.

She is survived by her husband, James and by four children. They are Lynne K., Brett Allen, James Randall, and Eric Scott. All of the children are living at home.

She is also survived by her mother, Mrs. Frances Jacobsen of Clinton, Iowa, and by three brothers and a sister. The brothers are David Jacobsen, of Clinton, Iowa; Herbert, of California and Roger, of Hawaii. The sister is Mrs. Norman (Shirley) of LaFollette of Boone, Iowa.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. today (Monday) at the Trinity Lutheran Church. The Rev. Charles Nenow will conduct the service. A second service will be held Tuesday morning at the Ames, Iowa, St, Paul’s Lutheran Church and committal will be in the Ames Municipal Cemetery.

The Campbell Mortuary in charge of arrangements.
