Bryan Barry Died Last Saturday

William Bryan Barry, life-long resident of Blair and well known here, died Saturday, October 30th. He had been in failing health for some time.

He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Barry, early-day farmers in the area south of Blair. He was born September 20th, 1899 at Blair and died at the age of 66. For many years he has been an employee of the Blair Telephone Company.

He is survived by his wife, the former Marguerite Lemon and by four brothers and three sisters. A daughter, Margerv (Mrs. Robert Bennett) lives in Blair.

The sisters are Mrs. Agnes Sip of Omaha; Mrs. Anna Rose, of Washington; and Mrs. Alary Thompson, of Blair. The brothers are John Barry, of Blair; Charles and Joe Barry of Omaha and James Barry of California.

There are three grandchildren, Debra, Carrie, and Angela Bennett.

Burial services were held Tuesday morning, November 2nd at St. Francis Borgia Catholic church, the Father Patrick Nolan conducting the service.

Burial under the direction of the Campbell Mortuary was made in Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Blair. Pallbearers were Axel Nielsen, George Frank. Bernard Thompson, Jack Sully, Emory Hunt, Jr., and Dennis Osborne.
