FLOYD ALEXANDER DIED AT LINCOLN SATURDAY, DEC. 12

Floyd K. Alexander, husband of the former Roma Ward, of Kennard, died at Lincoln, Nebraska, last Saturday following a long period of ill health. The Alexanders lived at 4911 Ginny Avenue in Lincoln.

Mr. Alexander for a number of years has been a Director of Drivers Education for the State of Nebraska. He has also been active in a number of educational organizations of the state, including NSEA, NEA and NDS. Prior to locating in Lincoln he served as coach and Superintendent of Schools in several towns about the state.

He was also active in Masonic work in Lincoln in Lodge No. 19, A.F. & A.M. He was a member of the Lincoln Order of Elks.

He is survived by his wife, Roma and by two sons and two daughters. The sons are Thomas, of Lincoln and William W. of Norfolk, Nebraska. The daughters are Mrs. Emil Johnson, of Scribner, and Mrs. Cecil Burt, of Broken Bow, Nebr. There are two grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Lincoln and interment was made in the Kennard Cemetery at 4:00 P.M. The Kramer Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
