ALICE EDNA TIMM, 93

Alice Edna Timm, 93, of Blair, formerly of Bennington, died Friday, March 31, 2000, at the Good Shepherd Home in Blair.

Services were Wednesday, April 5, 2000, at the Good Shepherd Chapel in Blair. Her ashes were buried in the Kennard Cemetery.

Alice Edna Timm was born Dec. 13, 1906, to Floyd and Mertie Mae (LeCrone) McCann, in Kennard.

On Oct. 16, 1926, she married Hugo Timm in Washington County. They farmed in Douglas County from 1926 to 1992.

Between the years of 1970 and 1992, they spent their winters in Mesa, Ariz.

She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bennington for more than 50 years.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Earl and Connie Timm of Bennington; two daughters and sons-in-law, Ruth and Kenneth Christensen of Ventura, Calif.; and Opal and Richard Finey of Tuscon, Ariz.; a brother, LeRoy McCann of Mesa, Ariz.; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a sister, Addie; and three brothers, Lyle, Lloyd and Lester.

Memorials are suggested to Good Shepherd Lutheran Home.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
