FATHER OF ARLINGTON MAN DIED THURSDAY
Services were held Monday at 10 a.m. for Clarence Timm, 66, of Oakland, who died Thursday.
Timm was born December 3, 1908. He was married February 4, 1931 to Frances Marie Colk at Yutan.
The couple farmed near Elkhorn for 33 years until moving to Oakland in March 1964.
Timm was a councilman for the First Evangelical Lutheran Church of Oakland; a member and past master of the Waterloo Masonic Lodge No. 102; past patron of the Waterloo Eastern Star Luna Chapter No. 169; and a board member of the Iowa Milk Association.
Timm is survived by his widow, two sons, Richard of Yutan and Gary of Arlington.
