EMMA TIMM

Mrs. Emma Timm, age 83 of Fremont, died on Monday, October 21, at Memorial Hospital of Dodge County in Fremont.

The former Emma Stuenkel was born September 1, 1902 at Tilden, Nebraska. She was raised there, and was a sales clerk. Later her family moved to Pilger and she was a telephone operator there.

On December 5, 1937, she was married to Alfred Timm. They farmed southeast of Winslow in the Immanuel Lutheran Church area. Following Mr. Timm’s death in February of 1966, she moved to Fremont. She worked at the Arbor Manor Home in Fremont.

Formerly a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, she was presently a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of Fremont.

She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Everett (Alvina) Blinn of Glidden, Iowa.

Visitation was at the Ludvigsen Mortuary in Fremont, and funeral services were held in Fremont at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church on Thursday, October 24. Rev. Timothy J. Gierke officiated. Burial was in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
