Francis Mullen, 72

Francis “Bud” Mullen, 72, of Wilber, has died. Graveside services and interment will be held at a later date.

Francis Mullen was born Oct. 27, 1935, in Marysville, Kan., to Lawrence and Alice (Pacha) Mullen.

On Feb. 6, 1956, he married Lila Ryser in Hanover, Kan.

He is survived by his wife, Lila, of Wilber; children, Debby and Roger Holcomb of Grant, Ala., Cindy Mullen of Washington, Kan., Jody Mullen, Kory Mullen and Darin Hagen, all of Wilber, Les and Sandy Mullen of Blair; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandson; sisters, Mary Ann Haber of Hanover, Kan., Jean Ham of Marysville, Kan., and Connie Hamilton of Winona, Minn.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, and four brothers.

Kuncl Funeral Home in Wilber is in charge of arrangements.
