Funeral services were held Saturday, May 28, at Emmaus Lutheran Church in Kennard for Arthur M. Mueller, 74, who died May 25, 1983, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.

The Rev. Russell Saltzman officiated. Burial was in the German Cemetery at Kennard.

Arthur M. Mueller was born December 5, 1908, in Kennard to Michael and Caroline Logemann Mueller. He attended Peaceful Hill Country School.

He farmed for 45 years, moving to Blair in 1975. He had served on the Peaceful Hill Country School Board, the German Cemetery Board and was a member of Emmaus Lutheran Church in Kennard.

He married Hilda Schumacher on March 11, 1931, in Council Bluffs.

He was preceded in death by one son, a brother and one great-grandson.

His is survived by his wife; one daughter, Mrs. James D. (Ardith) Pounds, Blair; and one son, Donald M. Mueller, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive.

Pallbearers were James M. Pounds, Jon Pounds, Robert Pounds, Richard (missing).

Norma Sue Klotz was organist. Mrs. W. E. Flynn was vocalist.

Campbell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for the services.
