Marjorie B. Mueller, 77

Marjorie B. Mueller, 77, of Scribner, died Jan. 10, 2001, at Nye Pointe in Fremont.

Funeral services were held Jan. 13, 2001 at St. Pete’s Lutheran Church in Scribner, with the Rev. Donald Brunner officiating. Interment was at Scribner Cemetery.

Marjorie B. Mueller was born May 22, 1923, in Cuming County, Neb., to Christian and Anna (Galster) Pribnow.

She lived in the Scribner area for her entire lifetime, and in Scribner since 1950.

On Jan. 20, 1950, she married Adolph Mueller in Scribner.

Mrs. Mueller was employed at the Good Samaritan Center in Scribner for 16 years as a care staff member, and retired in 1984. She was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Scribner, and served on the Board of the Milligan Over 670 Center for many years.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Kurtiss and Judy Mueller of Dawson, two daughters and sons-in-law, Jeanette and Myron Zrust of Omaha, and Rhonda and Mike Roehrs of Fort Calhoun, a daughter, Sonja Mueller of O’Neill, three step-children and their spouses, Joan and Wes Walker of Prescott Valley Ariz., Deanna Poignee of Rock Springs, Wyo., Hillard Mueller of Browntown, Wis., a sister, Mrs. Ken (Betty) Stoltenberg of Schuyler, four grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, and nine step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Adolph, three brothers, Elmer, Clyde and Dave Pribnow, four sisters, Hilda Petersen, Laverna Spalding, Delight Pettit and Bonnie Bales, one step-son, Raymond Mueller, and one grandson, Craig Zrust.

Memorials are suggested to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Scribner.

Spear-Johnson Funeral Home in Scribner was in charge of arrangements.
