Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 5 at Immanuel Lutheran Church east of Winslow for Wilbert L. Mueller, 75 of Hooper who died June 1, 1991 in Omaha. Rev. Rodney Meske will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation is Tuesday from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. at Ludvigsen Mortuary in Fremont.

Wilbert L. Mueller was born April 1, 1916 in Hooper. He attended Immanuel Lutheran School in rural Hooper.

He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and held various church offices. He was also a member of the Lutheran Laymen’s League.

He farmed in the Hooper area 44 years, retiring in 1983 and moving into Hooper.

He married Gretchen Busch August 27, 1939 at Immanuel Lutheran Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife; a son and his wife, Gene and Sally, Loveland, Colorado; two daughters and their husbands, Joan and Richard Schurman of rural Nickerson and Eunice and Ken Hoefner of rural Hooper; seven grandchildren; one great-grandson; and three brothers, Willis, North Bend, Allen, Arlington and Orlando of Hooper.

Ludvigsen Mortuary in Fremont is in charge of arrangements.
