Eva Mulford Is Buried on Wednesday

Services were held on Wednesday, June 28 at the First Baptist Church for Eva Mulford who died Sunday, June 25, 1978, at the age of 88 in the Memorial Community Hospital in Blair. Reverend James Metzgar officiated at the 2 p.m. service. Interment was in the Blair Cemetery.

Eva Mulford was born in Blair on September 20, 1889, to Suzanne Gilliland and Lenze Stricklett. She married Newton Mulford, who preceded her in death. She was a housewife for the majority of her life, but was residing at Crowell Home at the time of her death.

She is survived by one granddaughter, Mrs. Joan Quist, Blair; and one sister, Mrs. Edna Nicholson, also of Blair.

Mrs. Katy Flynn was organist for the services. Clyde Sappenfield provided the vocal selections.

Pallbearers wee Dale Stricklett, Wes Sprick, Ross Nicholson, Bill Gutschow, Mike Goff, and Steve Goff.

Campbell Mortuary was in charge of the arrangements for the services.
