Madeline Rose Cooper, 88

Madeline Rose Cooper, 88, of Blair, died August 29, at Bergan Mercy Hospital in Omaha.

Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Holy Cross Cemetery in Blair.

Madeline Rose Cooper was born Nov. 8, 1925, in Herman, to Joseph and Rose (Skleenar) Reyzlik. She was raised in the Blair area and graduated from Blair High School.

During World War II, she worked for Pratt & Whitney in the Kansas City area.

On June 7, 1947, she was united in marriage to Frank Cooper. After the marriage, the couple made their home in Blair.

Madeline was an active square dancer and round dancer. She was a member of St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Blair. She was an animal lover who always enjoyed sharing her home with pets. Family was always her greatest interest.

She is survived by her husband, Frank; son Clark (Ina) Cooper of Blair; grandsons: Shawn Cooper of Omaha and James Cooper of Omaha; great-grandchildren: Mikaela and Heather; and brothers: Frank Reyzlik of Blair and Joe (Mary Lou) Reyzlik of Blair.

Memorials may be directed to the Jeannette Hunt Animal Shelter.
