SERVICES HELD FOR LEONA SORENSEN

Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 5, at Campbell Funeral Home for Leona Sorensen, 67, who died August 3, 1981, at Crowell home in Blair.

Rev. Russell Saltzman conducted the services. Burial was in the Blair Cemetery.

Leona Sorensen was born in Kennard on May 24, 1914, to Iver and Mary Christensen-Lautrup. She attended Kennard School. She married Carl E. Sorensen on December 12, 1934, and lived in Blair.

She is survived by her husband, Carl E. Sorensen of Blair; two sons, Donald Sorensen, Kennard, and Richard Sorensen, Blair; and one daughter, Mrs. Roger (Mary) Reeh, Blair. One sister, Mrs. William (Bertha) Jorgensen, Blair; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren also survive her. She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers and 5 sisters.

Pallbearers were Bill Jorgensen, Don Lautrup, Ed Lautrup, Stan Misfeldt, Gordon Specht, and Bob Vreugdenhil.

Campbell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for the services.
