Elaine M. Timm, 76, died Wednesday, May 28, 2008, at her home in Nickerson.

Funeral services are 10 a.m. Saturday, May 31, at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Interment will be at the Arlington Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 30, at the funeral home, with the family receiving friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Visitation will also be held Saturday, one hour prior to services.

Elaine M. Pummer was born Dec. 12, 1931, in Oberlin, Kan., to Frank and Telitha (Morrow) Pummer. She lived in Oberlin until Dec. 26, 1951, when she married Franklin Timm in Fremont. The couple then lived in Nickerson.

Mrs. Timm sold her baked goods at area farmers markets. She was a former member of the Nickerson United Methodist Church and the former Telbasta United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women.

She is survived by her husband, Franklin; son and daughter-in-law, Johnny and Lorna Timm of Fremont; daughter and son-in-law, Terri and Curtiss Dralla of Rogers; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Lyle and Arlene Pummer of Ozark, Mo., and Gene and Neil Pummer of Wingo, Ky.; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Twila Baker of Ten Mile, Tenn., and Paula and Jack Hunt of Ozawkie, Kan.; sister-in-law, Juanita Pummer of San Antonio, Texas.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Frank Pummer; and brother-in-law, Luther Baker.

Memorials are suggested to the Dodge County Humane Society.
