HUGO TIMM, 92

Memorial services for Hugo Timm, 92 of Johansen Manor and formerly of Bennington, who died August 5, 1995 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Home in Blair will be 10 a.m. Thursday, August 10 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bennington.

Hugo Timm was born November 20, 1902 in Washington County to Gustave and Anna Schnede Timm.

He married Alice McCann October 16, 1926 in Kennard.

He was engaged in farming and was also a salesman.

He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bennington; served on the church council; and was head of the building committee in 1970. He played cornet for a dance group in his younger years and sang in the church choir at his winter home in Arizona from 1970 – 1992.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Harry and Otto.

He is survived by his wife, Alice; one son, Earl Timm of Omaha; two daughters, Ruth Christensen, Ventura, California and Opal Finney, Littleton, Colorado; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
